Our Ugandan Team

  • Description: Theologian, pastor, director/founder of C4DMU, globalhz.org/c4dmu, trainer, inspirational speaker, instructor, manager, and father of three children with one wife and a lead pastor at Zion Lutheran church and school – in Mukono.

    Akuwa James has served in several different offices and positions. He served as a district facilitator for Lutheran media ministries in Uganda. He has served the Lutheran Church of Uganda as a youth leader, lay leader, evangelist, vicar, and church planter as well as leading congregations in 2014 February he was ordained as a pastor. Founded projects before starting C4DMU. He still serves (s) as a senior pastor at Zion Lutheran Church and School Mukono, and he has served on numerous boards. He is the founder and executive board of directors of C4DMU, a nonprofit organization that focuses on destitute children in rural communities and disadvantaged families.

    Leading with cultural intelligence is the way to go in today’s working space so AKUWA JAMES is a competent, driven, and leader who is enthusiastic to work in a team and busy environment setting. well-planned and prompt in delivering, effective administrative techniques for any leadership position and accessible.

    Easily approachable, well-dressed, and capable of building productive working relationships with a variety of individuals, both national and international, and having a demonstrated capacity to produce Innovative approaches and fixes for intervention issues.

    Given the fact that Akuwa James comes from a poor family of 18 siblings and a rural community in Uganda, he was blessed and received education through numerous people, organizations, and churches that supported his education to date. In humility, he considers and values others above himself (Phil 2:3). Full of love, compassion, and care for orphans and needy children and families, he founded Care 4 destitute ministries Uganda (C4DMU, globalhz.org/c4dmu) to reach out with a message of hope to those who needed hope.

    At present, exposed to numerous high-learning institutions in Uganda, the USA, and Africa which are reputable and aspirational. Furthermore, worked with NGOs, and governmental or non-governmental organizations as they care for and save the souls of people, with transformational areas of change people through giving them hope that they can overcome their difficulties and live fulfilling lives.

    Equality, affection, openness, and accurate accountability are the characteristics of a leader that God and his people demand. Inclusion and diversity define the community we live today. So, as a graduate student in organizational leadership, I should be driven by the mission and vision of the university.

    Since I am an innovative leader, I love to add value to the world and the fellow people I am exposed to as carry diverse cultures from Africa more so my country Uganda.

    Hold a diploma in theology and a B.Th. majoring in organization leadership, an honors degree in public administration and management (postgraduate diploma in Public Administration Management), and a Master of Arts in leadership and innovation for ministry, of 2023 at Luther Seminary St. Paul MN.

  • Jane Awino and her husband, Rev Akuwa James who is the founder and director, plus their three children live in Kabembe, Mukono district, Uganda.

    She serves on the board as a member. She achieved a certificate in nursing assistant, and she has specialized in early childhood education from Makerere University. She has been in the struggle for upbringing young children for the last five years and she has discovered many challenges which are faced by children both at home and at school

    She hopes to share the love, peace, and grace God has given her with others as she serves to care for destitute ministries in Uganda.

  • Ronald Ndhaladhi and his wife charity plus their three children live in kabembe, mukono district

    He serves on the board as treasurer and doubles to be the education sponsorship coordinator, he is a teacher by profession, and he holds a diploma from Kyambongo University

    He has served for several years, and he enjoys his profession as a teacher, mentoring the young children while equipping them with knowledge for the betterment of tomorrow and he has discovered a lot of challenges which the children always face both at school and at home which contributes their poor performance in class. He still our treasurer of the organization/ finance secretary.

    The strong passion of love he has for the children, he decided to join C4DMU, so that he can be part of the struggle while impacting the children’s lives in Uganda

  • Waiswa is the Chairman of the C4DM-U Board. He lives in Kamuli town, with his family, and is currently working in Uganda Kamuli Buyende district. He has worked for several years as an educator and serving as treasurer [UNTU] Uganda national teachers union Buyende branch. He has served as [UNEB] Uganda national examiner board and UNEB scout for the last fifteen years.

    He is a musical adjudicator and trainer for several years. He achieved his bachelor’s degree and diploma in education from Kyambogo University, a certificate in administrative law from Makerere University, and currently, he is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in social works and public Administration. He hopes this will give him a big advantage in his career, as a senior educator, and music trainer. God has enabled him to change the young generation with a lot of opportunities; they have acquired creativity, literacy, and communication skills.

    In 2017 he decided to volunteer and work with Care For Destitute Uganda. , Sincerely it was a calling from God, and changing one’s life is worthy before God. He loves to support children with disabilities, children with HIV/AIDS, the needy children to continue with their education and succeed in life.

  • Description text goes hereSENINDE MUSA [MOSES] is the operations manager/coordinator, he lives in Kamuli, and he serves on the board as general secretary and doubles to oversee health affairs [health coordinator].

    He is a nursing officer, and he attained his first training from lira school of comprehensive nursing. During his studies, he served on the guild council as the guild president. He has been practicing in his field as a nurse from lira regional referral hospital and his community attachment in Oyamu district in northern Uganda, an area which was affected by war for over twenty years. This has equipped him with a lot of experience

    He has served Namwendwa Lutheran church as a lay leader, former chaplain at Hope Lutheran Church and School-Bufuula, former district facilitator Lutheran media ministry Uganda in Jinja district since 2007

    He was awarded a certificate by the Uganda Ministry of health together with the global health and HIV AIDS initiative for having successfully completed:

    • Health system strengthening [administration and management] in the health settings

    • Hospital procurement and supplies management [drugs and equipment]

    • Planning health emergencies in conflicts and refugee environment

    • Gender, sexual reproductive health rights

    • Adolescent’s health challenges in the developing countries

    • Maternal and child health development

    He has worked for several NGOs in Uganda; he specializes in working with marginalized groups of people. He has a strong passion for helping sick people and his happiness is to see them getting well and to be able to support themselves.

  • Waiswa Daniel and his wife Oliver plus their five children live in the Kamuli district.

    He serves on the board as a member and doubles to be spiritual coordinator, C4DM-U.

    He achieved a certificate after undergoing lay leadership training by the Lutheran Church of Uganda, where he went through a Bible correspondence course up to the diploma level.

    He has served as a teacher while as chairperson financial committee at hope Lutheran church and school Bufuula for over twelve years. Out of the experience and challenges, he discovered while for that grace period, he decided to join C4DM-U so that he can be part of the team, preaching the message of hope to the deprived humanity.
